- Hiring for software eng is basically negative right now (tons of layoffs, not much hiring). Demand for juniors and interns is also a lot lower than it is for seniors. I'm sorry, but you may have graduated at the worst time in history for this degree.
My sincere advice is to find any job that will pay the bills, in tech if you can, and start practicing coding on the side. You can work on OSS or your own stuff.
The hard reality is that way too many people went into software than the industry could ever need, and a lot of you just won't end up as professional coders.
