- Does it really matter? Can you not destroy unarmed military assets? Is a transport truck carrying food for soldiers off limit?
And for the intelligence sharing to locate the ship thing: do people really believe the US intelligence apparatus needs help finding a 95m long ship, especially since it was known to be at the fleet review? I don’t think you can get a ship anywhere without the US knowing if they want to.
- The USA cares for no law, follows no law, and respects no law.
- The captain could've chose to stay at the fleet review, but intentionally steamed towards the US fleet and certain and unnecessary destruction.

Is the United States at war or not? What basis is there to sink a frigate leaving a naval wargame exercise? Was it planning to bomb Diego Garcia?
- What basis was there to sink several smaller south-american boats in the course of the past months? Alleged drug smuggling, which is not punishable by death afaik, and they still murdered those people.
