- I used to work at Indeed and support your spite! A few comments: - the term pack isn't common so you might need to explain or try some other term - Radar chart is a nice visual - Overall visuals are interesting. What are your thoughts on showing the resume so much on the search page? I would imagine the first impression is cool, but after that practically it takes up a lot of space.
Overall, it's an interesting concept for sure. I'll give it more usage and report back.
- Nice job. I don’t really have much to add about the product itself, but that’s largely because all of my jobs over the last decade have come through referrals from my personal network. So personally I don’t have as much need for something like this.
However, if you’re planning to monetize this, which it appears you are, there are a couple of things that come to mind.
First, temper your expectations. I’ve consistently seen job-aggregator/application tools with AI posted on Hacker News nearly once or twice a week for practically a year at this point. You’re entering a very competitive space, so just be aware of that.
Second, and related to the first point, I think the name might be working against you. DreamWork(s) is a very well-known animation studio in the US, and from an SEO perspective it seems likely you'll be heavily down-ranked or overshadowed which could make discovery an issue.
Good luck!
- Appreciate that feedback! The space does feel competitive but under-optimized, if that makes sense.
And noted on the name - something I’m considering daily. I just like the feel of dreamwork.
